Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 August 2026

This policy describes how the software application Folino's Internal Reporting ("the Application") handles information. The Application is operated by Folino's Pizza ("we", "us") solely for our own internal business reporting.

The Application is not a public product

The Application is not offered to, sold to, or made available to the public. It is used only by Folino's Pizza and its authorized staff, and it connects only to accounts that Folino's Pizza itself owns and controls. There are no external end users, and no information is collected from members of the public through the Application.

What information the Application accesses

When an authorized member of our staff connects the Application to a QuickBooks Online company owned by Folino's Pizza, the Application may read:

  • company profile information, such as company name and fiscal year settings;
  • the chart of accounts, and class or location tracking categories;
  • accounting totals and reports, such as income by account and by period.

The Application also reads sales and labor records from our own Toast point-of-sale account for the same reporting purpose.

What the Application does not do

  • It does not write to, modify, or delete any QuickBooks Online record.
  • It does not access QuickBooks Payments, banking credentials, or card data.
  • It does not collect information about members of the public.
  • It does not sell, rent, or share information with third parties.
  • It does not use the information for advertising or profiling.

How the information is used

Information is used only to produce internal reports for Folino's Pizza: staffing and scheduling forecasts, and comparisons between point-of-sale sales figures and the figures recorded in our books. The results are shared only with our own management and staff.

Where the information is stored

Data retrieved by the Application is stored locally on computer equipment controlled by Folino's Pizza, and in private business spreadsheets accessible only to authorized staff. Access credentials are stored locally and are not transmitted to any third party other than the service they authenticate to.

Retention

Retrieved accounting and sales data is retained for as long as it is useful for internal reporting, and is deleted when no longer needed. Authorization for the Application can be revoked at any time from within QuickBooks Online, under the connected apps settings, which immediately ends the Application's access.

Security

Access credentials are kept in local configuration that is excluded from source control and restricted to the operating system account that runs the Application. Access tokens are limited to the connections our staff explicitly authorize.

Changes to this policy

If the Application's data handling changes, this page will be updated and the date above revised.
